1. QUILTING: Our quilting uses a close hand-guided lock stitch machine quilting. Your quilts may be machine washed and dried. We keep our linings and tops as free of wrinkles as your piecing will allow. If fullness or wrinkles are pieced into your top we cannot always quilt them out. Prices for quilting depends on the size of your quilt, what supplies you purchase from us, what pattern you choose, etc. We provide white thread. Quilting a quilt with scalloped borders is an additional charge of $10.00 per quilt.
2. BATTING: You may bring your own bonded batting, or we can provide it at an additional charge, according to the size of your quilt. (see chart)
3. BINDING: Binding is available and prices vary according to the size of your quilt. (see chart) Many colors are available ( 20 to 25 colors ), as well as white and muslin.
4. LINING: You may bring your own lining, or we can provide it. Prices vary according to the size you need. Our 90" poly-cotton lining is $5.00 - $6.00 per yard and is available in several colors. We also sell 108" poly-cotton and cotton muslin lining. If you bring your own lining, be certain it is three to six inches longer and wider than your pieced top, to allow for stretch when quilting.
5. QUILTS are usually ready in 6-8 weeks, and may be picked up at your convenience. We will notify you when they are ready. Full payment is due when quilts are picked up. You may pay in advance if desired or make lay-a-way payments. NOTICE: All quilts must be picked up 90 days (3 months) from original order date unless prior arrangements are made. Any quilts not picked up and paid for in 180 days (6 months) will become the property of QUILTS PLUS.
6. SHIPPING: Quilts can be mailed by US Mail or UPS. Prices will average $12.00 - $15.00 per quilt + an additional $8.00 for each subsequent quilt shipped in the same box. If orders (tops) are shipped to us, please send enclosed instructions as to quilting pattern, type and color of lining, color of binding, etc. Also, please enclose a complete mailing address and phone number. An itemized invoice (bill) will be mailed to you with a tentative completion date. Payment in advance plus shipping is required before mail order quilts are shipped back to our customers.
